A fatal error occurred
I performed a clean install on windows but i backed up my Citra save games before that, after clean install, when i launch any game, I get a error saying “a fatal error has occurred”

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • Enabling Accurate Multiplication is recomended in certain games. If you are experiencing graphical glitches, try enabling this option.

CTRL+F for config block to find it on the page.

If you are unable to find it in the FAQ, here is a screenshot:

hey thanks a lot it worked but now all my games claim to have a corrupt save data

i checked the save files and all the save files are 0KB

You will need to delete the 001b500 folder in 00040000 and start over :frowning:

To make sure your save won’t get corrupted in the future you can manually back up (copy the main file and store it in your own cloud like Google Drive) so you can restore to a working one if it happens again. That is what I do with my Monster Hunter saves that have like 2000h playtime each, fortunately for me I haven’t had a single corruption yet but I’m prepared if that day comes.

well not only 001b500 but the save file in all the other folders are at 0KB, looks like i have to delete all my save games and start over each and every game ,
thanks a lot for your help, and i will start backing up my saves in cloud henceforth
