ACNL keeps dropping to 0 FPS since recent updates


Ever since the third most recent update, every time I open ACNL the FPS drops to 0 within seconds and the screen turns black. It stays like this for a while but it usually eventually starts running normally and I’m able to start the game, but then once I start playing the same thing (it drops to 0 fps and freezes for a few minutes) happens randomly – usually on transition screens, but also when I’m just walking around or not doing anything.

I was hoping that the most recent update would fix this but it seems to have just gotten worse, and when I try to exit Citra the app stops responding and I have to force quit.

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

The graphics look fine, the only issue is that the game keeps freezing (dropping to 0 fps) literally every 2 to 30 seconds when I play. Could there be another reason for this?
