After use Cheat Code Can't Save Game

Issue: Can’t Save Game after using Cheat Code.

When i Insert Cheat Codes and Acivate them In Game afterwars i can’t save the game the Citra Emulator goes to 0% Speed of 100%. I’m playng Pokemon X Version 1.5

System Information:

  • Operating System: Windows 10

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700

  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060

  • Citra Version (found in title bar): Citra Nightly 1331

  • Game: Pokemon X Europe Version 1.5

This happen to me after using cheat (“Items and Balls you own ×255” and “Med Pack items you own ×255”) but when i use cheat “100% Catchrate” it works fine and i can save game normally. Can someone solved our problem?

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • Enabling Accurate Multiplication is recomended in certain games. If you are experiencing graphical glitches, try enabling this option.
  • You have cheats enabled. This might cause weird behaviour or crashes. Please disable them and retest if your game is experiencing bugs or crashes.

Remove all cheats then try again. If needed, you can try delete the cheats folder if it crashes too fast by going: File->Open Citra Folder then delete cheats.

Hi, there. I am also facing exactly the same issue and I found a solution to it. There is a problem with that cheat. I use only 3 cheats… 1) 100% catch rate 2) those 2 cheats you mentioned. Those two cheats you mentioned are not right. When you use the cheat, cheat works. You check your bag after using the cheat. Your items would have changed to x255 Then, enter into any house or exit and check your bag again. You’ll find that the items again change to x512 or something like in 500s. SO, THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH CHEAT. The cheat works till infinity like there is not ending to the cheat. It goes on multiplying the number again and again till infinity.

So, don’t use those two cheats( x255 pokeballs and x255 meds)

Cheats always bugs the game and that is why it possess problems and it is better not to use a cheat…
