Age of Calamity: won't launch after applying update

After updating Hyrule Warriors - Age of Calamity to 1.3.0 its stuck at launch.
Removing the update fixes the issue and the game is playable.

Can you post a log file? Maybe the update introduces a service we don’t support.

Games won’t work with the last driver AMD gave those old GCN cards. You will have to use Linux.

That is weird because the game works without the update just fine. Anyways thanks for your help.
