Alpha Sapphire won't open on Pixel 7 / Android 14

Issue:
I’ve just downloaded Citra and this is my first attempt at using it, so I strongly suspect this is me getting something wrong more than anything else.
Essentially when I try to open the .cia file the screen flickers and nothing happens.
I really appreciate any help, even if it’s just “you’re getting to completely wrong”!
TIA Mike

From the Citra version you listed, it seems you are using the Playstore version of Citra - which is extremely outdated. Try using one of the GitHub builds.

Nightly Build
Canary Build
(Make sure you download the file containing .apk)

That’s great! Thank you.

I’ve managed to install the canary .APK version of Citra but sadly still cannot get it to open the requisite .csi files. But one step forward. I will tinker further.
