Animal Crossing New Leaf Welcome Amiibo crashing when saving in game

Issue:
For unknown reason, on ACNLWA has started crashing when I go to save in game it’ll start the saving process, and suddenly hang and the emulator crash after that.If anyone has a solution,their help would be invaluable.

System Information

  • Operating System: windows 11
  • CPU: intel core i5 -12450H / 2.00 GHz
  • GPU: intel(R) UHD Graphics
  • Citra Version (found in title bar): Citra Nightly 2039
  • Game: Animal Crossing New Leaf Welcome Amiibo
  • Screenshot of Issue (include the full Citra window including titlebar): can’t have screenshots cause of crash when I’m saving in the game(ANCLWA).

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

Download the windows-msys2 file, extract it using winrar or 7zip, extract either of the resulting archives again, and then launch the citra-qt(.exe) file found inside of the extracted head folder. Launch your game, and see if the issue persists.

Thanks for the info, I’ll test it and see if it works or not.

I’ve just tested using the citra -qt(.exe) launcher and the problem is still there.It’s crash when I’m saving game

Please upload a log file with the GitHub build.

But the bug disappears when using the citra-qt(.exe) extracted from the “windows-msvc” file, but not with the citra-qt(.exe) from “windows-msvc2”

Interesting. Can you upload a log file for both? I’m curious to see if there’s a big difference after saving the save file.
