AS Freezes when I exit a route

Issue:
Ive been running Alpha Sapphire(Parallel Platinum version) and its been running smoothly until today whenever I try to exit route 119 the game freezes.

how do i remove mods on macos

Right click on the game in Citra’s game list, then select Open Mods Location. Move the folders/files found here outside of this folder, or delete them to uninstall the mod.
