Black Screen in games with sound

Black Screen with sound:
I keep getting either a black screen or the game loads with 1-2 FPS with every combination of settings I use. Sometimes a single configuration loads up the game with a slow FPS rate and sometimes it doesn’t load and I only hear the sound of the game.

I am using a Microsoft Surface Laptop 4 if that helps.
