Black Screen/ not responding when ROM is loaded

This driver is out of date. To update, download and install gfx_win_101.3430_101.2111.exe from Intel® Graphics – Windows* DCH Drivers
Mirror download: https://downloadmirror.intel.com/746999/gfx_win_101.3430_101.2111.exe

Additionally, you should set your Citra’s region back to auto-select in the general settings. There’s no reason to be fiddling with this.

I load Citra Nightly and Canary but the game that I am attempting to play (Pokemon Alpha Sapphire) always shows up with a black screen. However, the game still responds to my button presses.

I tried many of the solutions presented in this chat thread. However, I am unable to download a new driver because my computer supposedly claims that “Windows has determined that the best driver for this device is already installed.”

Additionally, when I tried to download a new Driver from one of the mirror links in this text thread, it says that my system “has a driver that is locked to manufacturer specifications.”

Please help. Nothing is working.
EDIT: I fiddled around with removing the “opengl” folder and enabling VSync and now it regularly crashes Citra.

Disable cheats, then restart Citra (important, otherwise they remain active).

Additionally, you should update your GPU drivers to the latest available: GeForce Game Ready Driver | 522.25 | Windows 10 64-bit, Windows 11 | NVIDIA

Lastly, enable Shader JIT in Emulation>Configuration>Graphics>Advanced Tab.
