Black screen upon loading save

Issue: Black screen upon playing
Specifically in pokemon, whenever I load a game save file the screen keeps freezing up. I can still hear the game playing but the screen is either fully blacked out or is stuck on a specific frame. Framerate is always a perfect 30 and speed is 100% and yet it still is unplayable.

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • You are running out of date drivers for your GPU. You need to install the most recent driver for your graphics card from Intel’s website. Support for Intel® Graphics
  • Enabling Accurate Multiplication is recomended in certain games. If you are experiencing graphical glitches, try enabling this option.
  • The CPU Clock percentage is not 100%. You may experience unexpected game speed.

still doesn’t help, the game still has a black screen when I load the save.

Please send a new log file with all the new changes.

Sorry that this is late, I’m Australian.

GPU Driver Version 26.20.100.8141

This driver is outdated (from 2020), you need to update.

Download Intel® Graphics – Windows* DCH Drivers from Intel® Core™ i3-8145U Processor
Direct link: https://downloadmirror.intel.com/741527/gfx_win_101.3413_101.2111.exe

CPU Clock in Citra should be set to 100%, otherwise emulation will be unstable.

thanks this helped, I wouldn’t say it running smoothly, but it is running.

Well Intel iGPUs are not known to be good for gaming. Just used to get a display at all :stuck_out_tongue:
