Black screen when running games on Flatpak version

When running any game on the Citra Flatpak on Fedora 38, the screen is black and duplicates the mouse and any menus drawn over the game window. The game is playing, because I can hear it and interact with it, but the visuals don’t work. This only happens on the flatpak version running under a Wayland session. Running the flatpak under X11 works fine, and running an Appimage version under Wayland works as well.

I figured out a solution that allows me to keep using the Flatpak version. Using Flatseal, you can disable the Wayland support for the app, which forces it to run under X11 instead. This way you can keep using Wayland and use Citra at the same time.
