for extra info, turned accurate multiplication on and off for both builds, wont work no matter what. Im pretty sure the drivers are not the problem.

Hm, you got some framebuffer errors. Try install the latest driver from here: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/29465/Intel-Graphics-Windows-10-DCH-Drivers?product=126687 (latest ends in 7985 while you only have 7262).
Are you using any overlays?

no overlays, after installing the new driver, citra wont even begin for some reason. i tried reinstalling, but doesnt seem to work for both builds  citra.qt would pop in my task manager for like a second and disappear

hm that sounds strange.

ikr? idk if this may be the problem, but the driver was constantly reinstalling ever after rebooting the pc, but when i checked the driver, it was installed as the latest version. does this matter with the no beginning issue?

Hm if the driver tries to reinstall automatically you might need to disable updates from Windows Updates for it: https://www.reddit.com/r/intel/comments/a024v1/for_future_reference_how_to_disable_intel_updates/

Can you upload a new log with the 7985 drivers?

no problems with reinstalling the drivers, but still wont begin for some reason. cant provide new log because citra wont even load… (to be exact with details: task manager shows citra-qt for like a second and disappear)

sry to bother you with this problem

Hm go to %appdata%\Citra\log then upload it.

citra_log.txt (98 Bytes)

The log filter is incorrect, it is currently set to *:Critical. Since you cannot open Citra go to %appdata%\Citra\config and open qt-config.ini in like notepad then scroll down to [Miscellaneous] and change log_filter=*:Critical to log_filter=*:Info then save the file.

Now try open Citra and then as before go to %appdata%\Citra\log and upload it again.

When i checked the qt-config.ini, [Miscellaneous], and the log filter, it was actually in Info for some reason.

Edit: I did not touch any part of .ini file or even go to %appdata%/citra file other than getting the log.

Hm, where are you starting Citra from? Can you right click then -> Open file location ? I have a feeling you have a user folder there which would have its own settings with the log filter changed to Critical.

ok, so apparently it was in %appdata%/Local, while the log and all the other file was in %appdata%/Roaming. should i move the whole Citra folder to Roaming?

You have a user folder in %appdata%\Local\nightly-mingw ? That is pretty dangerous because if you uninstall Citra it will completely wipe that folder and remove your saves etc.

If you have been using Local then copy everything from that is inside the user folder into %appdata%\Citra then delete that user folder and it should read from Roaming instead.

If you want a portable Citra install download a standalone build under manual download at the download page then extract it somewhere else, then create a folder called user in that instead.

right… to clarify, I dont have a folder specifically named “user” on both %appdata% routes, and I have transferred the citra folder to the roaming. It doesnt turn it back on, so i am thinking of giving a fresh reinstall no matter my save. Is that okay thing to do?

Ok if you don’t mind giving a fresh start you can do that.

so i reinstalled everything fresh, got my nightly-mingw and canary-mingw on my Roaming. But it still wont run citra, (both builds) and i dont even have the log folder that i should have. Any ideas bout this? sry to drag on with this problem for awhile.
