BOTW - best settings for my config

Hi :slight_smile:
I’m playing BOTW. The games run quite smoothly (30FPS) but the graphics are mediocre (grass etc…).
I looked online to find advice for the settings but it’s all over the place. Support evovled rapidely and a lot of available info is now outdated.

What settings should I use with this config?:

  • R5 5600G (iGPU not used)
  • Rx 590 (8GB)
  • 32 GB DDR4 3600

I’m running Yuzu 845 on Win10 21H2
I use Vulkan (game lags when using OpenGL GLSL and yuzu crashes when I exit the game).

Is there any mod the I should know about and that make things run more smoothly?

Default settings and usage of vulkan should be fine on tolerable enough hardware. Most people would prefer the performance of cemu botw instead for the emulators age and maturity + gfx pack options.

You can try using linux if you’d like better ogl support as amd and windows for ogl is like mixing oil and water.
