Bravely default graphic glitches on android

I have been trying to play Bravely Default, but there is a graphic glitch that causes the screen to peridically flash blue.
I have tried to fix the issue by playing around with the settings and even bought the premium version to try the different texture filters to no avail.

Device: Oneplus Nord2 5G

Operating System: OxygenOs 12.1
CPU: dimensity 1200-ai octacore
Citra Version (found in title bar): bed6a4f12
Game: Bravely Default

Graphical glitching with OpenGL ES and a Mali GPU is to be expected. The drivers are quite horrible.
This might not be as much of a concern on Vulkan when it is released.
