Can i move my animal crossing new leaf save file to a Animal Crossing Welcome Amiibo rom?

i tried to move the actual save files to the WA save folders and i do see my village on the opening screen and my name is there and everything, but when i go to log in it says “An error has occurred. please turn off your system and reinsert the game card”

kind of a general question so i dont think my specs matter.
