Cannot find Citra on my computer

Issue:
I cannot find Citra on my computer. I use Citra Nightly to play pokemon, but I can’t find it to open the app anywhere on my computer. I can’t search for it, I can’t find it on desktop, it isn’t anywhere. It was always like this, but before I would just launch it from “Recently added” but it isn’t there anymore. It is still on my computer, because I still have the option to uninstall it, but I can’t find it anywhere else.

System Information

  • Operating System: Windows 10
  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600 Six-Core Processor
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
  • Citra Version: Nightly
  • Game: Pokemon Ultra Sun/Omega Ruby

In order for us to provide better support, we need to see the log generated by citra. This guide will walk you through how you can obtain the log file: How to Upload the Log File

Where have you tried searching for it?

Using the magnifying glass on the bottom left of my computer

Could you try hitting Windows + R and typing in %appdata%/Citra into it?

Yes, it came up with a folder containing the following folders

cheats
config
log
nand
screenshots
sdmc
shaders
sysdata

Try going up to the AppData folder, then look for nightly-mingw in the Local folder

Ok, I found it do i just click on Citra.exe now?

citra-qt.exe, and you may want to pin it to taskbar or make a shortcut on your desktop

Alright, thank you for the help
