Cannot Save ingame on most (tested) Pokemon Games

Issue:
I cannot save any Pokemon games I have tested on Citra Nightly. I have tested running it with other save files and that works fine. I am techy so feel free to use technical words. The error is below in the screenshot.

System Information

  • Operating System: Windows 10 (Can use Ubuntu if needed because in dual boot)
  • CPU: i7-7500U 2.7GHz
  • GPU: AMD RADEON R5 MX430 (Laptop GPU)
  • Citra Version (found in title bar): Citra Nightly Head-79ac476
  • Game: Pokemon Omega Ruby/Sun/Moon/Ultra Sun
  • Screenshot of Issue (include the full Citra window including titlebar): https://imgur.com/gallery/qjsiyjb

Log:
Can’t get log because an instance of Citra is running the game.

I solved it! So here is the answer for those who want to know:

  1. Go to Citra (a new instance)
  2. Click “File” in the top left.
  3. Select “Select Game Directory” (or something along those lines)
  4. Browse to your directory and open it.
  5. Right click on the game.
  6. Replace the “main” file in the folder with this or another save file (possibly from a real 3DS).

NOTE: I DIDN’T MAKE THAT SAVE FILE YOU CAN FIND THE ORIGINAL VIDEO HERE: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZMwichqTOYI

  1. Go in-game and press your key mapped to X then save the game like normal.
  2. It should now work!
