Can't Load Save Data: Super Mario 3D Land

Issue:
I successfully dumped all of my game cartridges and used Checkpoint to dump the save files, but I can’t get Citra to load the save files for any game I’ve tried (Super Mario 3D Land). When I launch the game it doesn’t think I’ve played it before and prompts me to create a new save file. However, when I insert the SD card indo the 3DS I can play where I left off. I would greatly appreciate any help debugging this.
Here’s everything I did to get where I am now:

  1. Insert game cartridge
  2. Open up checkpoint
  3. Backup the saves
  4. Put the /3ds/Checkpoint/saves/0x0053F SUPER MARIO 3D LAND/20240102-125016/GameData.bin file where it belongs.

No game was booted in your log. If you are experiencing a crash then do not open citra again until after you posted the log as it gets purged when you reopen citra.

Same thing happens to me but i use windows and it crashes on the title screen
