Can't open savefile after update "array size too short"

Issue:
Can’t load safe states anymore after updating Citra. Idk which version i had before updating. So if i could get that back maybe i can get it to work again.

Save states arent too reliable, try to use the ingame save function instead

Save states are more unstable than in-game save files, and should only be used within single gaming sessions. You should be using your in-game save files most of all in order to record your save data.

To recover your old save state’s data though, follow these steps:
Download citra-windows-mingw-20221010-e24e2a8.7z from Release nightly-1794 · citra-emu/citra-nightly · GitHub
Extract using winrar or 7zip, then run the citra-qt(.exe) found inside of the extracted folder. Run your game, then load your save state. Then save in-game. Now you can load your game progress in the latest Citra builds by loading your in-game save file.
