So I have had yuzu working good for a week now, today my friend asked me to help him download it too, so I did, and when he tries to open it, it loads and then nothing, no error no message just closes, I have checked his files and it didn’t even create the file located in …/AppData/Roaming/yuzu, he also did download the c++, I’m out of ideas any help?

He should get an installer_log when this happens, see if you can get it and post it here.
first of all, its not citra it’s yuzu, second i mentioned that a folder in …/AppData/Roaming called yuzu was not created while opening which i believe is a part of the problem.
and where would that be located?
Yup it is Yuzu, but when @CitraBot was created it was only Citra, Yuzu has come later and that is why he still saying Citra not Yuzu, he does the same things for Yuzu.
Check the folder where he downloaded the installer.

And I don’t install Yuzu, I have it Manual Download of Yuzu Mainline.
@GoldenX86 I’m still confused about what I’m supposed to do or send about the event viewer
Click on Windows Logs > Application, right click it and select Find… Then look for yuzu results. Post me if you have Critical or Error ones.

That’s fine, but Windows doesn’t know why it dies. Does your friend has Action!, Bandicam, or any other screen recorders installed?
Would they cause a problem or do you need him to record something because I can ask him to download one if you need.
Those programs will make yuzu crash as they don’t support up to date vulkan versions. Avoid them.
Does he has any USB gamepad connected to the PC?
No, he doesn’t have any recording program, and the only USBs connected to his pc are a mouse, keyboard, headphones, and a webcam.
