Can't play Mario Kart 7 through Local Multiplayer

For some reason, a friend and I can’t play Mario Kart 7 through Local Multiplayer. We played once in April but these last few days we simply couldn’t play. The game stays on a perpetual loading screen that states “Please wait” and nothing happens. We have DLP enabled and the latest Canary version installed. We tested Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and we can play online, so it seems that this issue only happens on Mario Kart 7.

I find it weird that we could play once all those months ago but now we can’t. What could the problem be?

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • Enabling Accurate Multiplication is recomended in certain games. If you are experiencing graphical glitches, try enabling this option.
  • Please enable the Vsync option if you are experiencing screen tearing.
