Can't save in-game in Pokemon US

Issue:
Hello, the save function of Citra works correctly but I can’t save in-game.
I have a second problem into the pokemon Ultra Sun game (a part where you have to load sd card, and it doesn’t work). Excuse me for my english by the way.
I think it’s probably linked.

I want to resolve first the issue about saving. Thanks for your help.

I have made a new game of pokemon US and it works so I think it’s because of the fact that I saved the game always with the save states (of Citra). So I will use the in-game save function now.

Saving upon save state loaded emulation states basically means that any faults in the emulation never get purged. It would be as if you’re running the emulator for the entirety of your play-through without ever shutting it down. Add some instability from loading everything from the save state every time and you have a recipe for losing your progress.

The recommended usage of save states is to use them within single gaming sessions, but not beyond them. Use your in-game save files to record your progress most of all.
