Changing Save File Locations

Changing Save File Locations:
I recently downloaded 2 different Pokemon Ultra Sun rom hacks, Pokemon Supernova Sun and Pokemon Reaper Sun. After a bit of playing, I noticied that they shared the same save file. Is there any way to change that?

Hi,

Citra doesn’t see Rom hacks as seperate games. It sees them as the original games.
In order to use two different save files for them at the same time, you’ll have to set up a portable citra version for one of the ROMhacks (has it’s own save files and config).
You can acomplish this by downloading a manual build from https://github.com/citra-emu/citra-nightly/releases
Select one of the version and then download the option for your OS. Extract the downloaded file using winrar or 7zip. Inside the nightly-mingw folder, create a folder called user and then launch the citra-qt.exe file inside the nightly-mingw folder. This citra version should now store it’s save files and such inside the user folder. Use this citra version for one of the ROM hacks and use the normal installation citra version for the other ROM hack

@ionelush2001 You need to download ROM hacks in order to play them. ROM hacks themselves are not copywrited materials, they are simply user made patches to apply to the base game.
If they pirated the base game, it would be a different story. But his post does not indicate that. No need to to point them to the rules.
