Cheats only working with menu open

Issue:
Okay, this is a really weird problem, for some reason my cheats only work if the config menu is open, which is strange considering i didn’t have this problem with earlier versions of nightly.

System Information
Operating System: Windows 10

  • CPU: Intel Core i3 6100U
  • GPU: Intel(R) HD Graphics 520
  • Citra Version (found in title bar): Nightly 1919
  • Game: Affects all.

I don’t know how useful the log will be, but there it is.

Edit: Correction, the cheats only work if the game configs (The ones exclusive to that game) is open.

Hmmm, your log file is full of unknown reads. Odd. Do you have a particular game or title where this is easy to reproduce with?

Sorry for the really late reply, but this problem happens with all games i have, the cheat just works so long as i have the menu open.

Can you try again on the latest Nightly build?

I did, still have that problem, also saw the errors in the log, weird, other than the cheat bug, everything runs fine.

Was the cheat code enabled before you launched your game? (right click on your game in Citra’s game list, then select Properties, Cheats tab should be there)

It wasn’t, i always disable them before saving the game and them exiting.

Then enable them from the start. Let me know if the issue persists.

Weird, the bug didn’t happen.
