Citra 1986 Keeps Freezing

Every time I use Citra it freezes for an infinite amount of time after about 5 minutes of playing. There are no distinguishable actions that seem to be causing the freezes, they just happen at random spots after a short amount of playtime.

System Information

  • Operating System: WIndows 10
  • CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x
  • GPU: GT 1030
  • Citra Version (found in title bar): Citra Canary 1986
  • Game: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • The CPU Clock percentage is not 100%. You may experience unexpected game speed.

Set your CPU Clock Speed back to 100%. Underclocking or overclocking is inherently unstable. You shouldn’t touch that slider unless you know what you’re doing.

The log file is also giving off some controller related errors. Not sure if they’re related, but try using Citra without your controller if your issue persists.
