Make sure Tools->Frame Advance->Enable Frame Advancing is not enabled.

Maybe you accidentally pressed the default hotkey CTRL+A or used the Advance Frame hotkey \.

I just checked and it was not on:(

The log file is incomplete. Make sure you follow the steps carefully:

  1. Open Citra, then go to File>Open Citra Folder and open up the log folder. Now keep that open in the background.
  2. Launch your game and encounter the problem; crash/slowdown/glitch and close citra if it doesn’t do so by itself. Do not restart citra as that will wipe the log of important information!
  3. Now upload the log file in this chat.

Hopefully I did it the right way. Had to close citra with task manager.

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • Enabling Accurate Multiplication is recomended in certain games. If you are experiencing graphical glitches, try enabling this option.
  • You have GDB debugging enabled. This will cause Citra not to launch games. This is only intended for debugging purposes and should be disabled in settings.

I followed as the bot suggested, the game ran for like 3 secs and the intro sound played but it froze again.

Please upload another log file now that GDB Stub is disabled.

Following the same steps as I did before. citra_log.txt (4.0 KB)

  • You are running out of date drivers for your GPU. You need to install the most recent driver for your graphics card from Intel’s website. Downloads for Graphics

It works now! Thank you so much!

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • Due to AMD’s poorly optimized OpenGL driver, you may experience slowdowns.

I’m on the same boat as this guy. After that damn w10 update citra just freezes at the beginning and the speed and fps drops to 0 almost immediately.
