Every time I open my game, when I press start on the game menu the screen goes black. I’ve looked at everything to help this but it never works.

Screenshot of Issue (include the full Citra window including titlebar):
Your settings are a mess right now, could you please go to emulation>configuration>general>select Reset All Settings?
Try to see if your game runs after that first.
The log you posted earlier is incomplete, make sure you follow the steps carefully:
Open citra and go to emulation>configuration>general>debug>select open citra folder. Now keep that open in the background.
Launch your game and encounter the problem/crash/slowdown and close citra if it it doesn’t do so by itself. Do not restart citra as that will wipe the log of important information!
Now upload the log file in this chat.
Hopefully that will give us some more information to work with.

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.
Enabling Accurate Multiplication is recomended in certain games. If you are experiencing graphical glitches, try enabling this option.
Open shaders folder then delete the opengl folder if it is there.
Emulation->Configure… then click on Graphics on the left
Click on the Advanced tab and turn on Accurate Multiplication
The Disk Shader Cache currently has a bug when Accurate Multiplication is turned off causing it to load all shaders slowly from zero every time you start the game and makes the precompiled cache extrememly large + the RAM usage skyrockets until you crash.
