Citra Canary 1939 "A fatal error occurred. Check the log for details. Continuing emulation may result in crashes and bugs."

Issue:
I installed Henriko’s latest Ocarina of Time 4k texture pack yesterday evening. Whenever I try to boot it up the emulator crashes upon starting it. What on earth is going on?

Citra bot? More like shitra bot

I have somewhat the same issue. I can get as far as creating a new save file but as soon as I click on save, crash.

Same texture pack I installed too.

I’ve already made a post myself. Hopefully I hear back.

Have you tried without using the texture pack? Would be nice to rule things out.

Yes the copy of the game I have works fine in base, and It worked with previous version of his pack.

I turned the use of custom textures off in the configure settings and even without the textures it didn’t seem to load correctly either. My 3ds game is fine because it worked fine previously though

Please upload a log file without the use of custom textures then.

Can you check whether the same issue occurs on the latest Nightly or Canary version?

My base copy of oot works on both well.

So I’m assuming we are left with either the version of citra that came with the pack or the reshaders are the issue?

Sorry, we don’t provide support for ROMhacks, edits, mods or texture packs. My only job was to figure out whether or not the issue you were having was caused by something other than those things. Since the texture pack appears to be the culprit, you’ll have to ask the author for support with it.
