Citra canary not launching

citra canary isn’t launching:
when i installed the latest version of the citra installer from the main download website, i launched canary and it says the following:

“The procedure entry point CreateEventW could not be located in the dynamic link library api-ms-win-core-synch-l1-2-0.dll.”

System Information

  • Operating System: Windows 7 64 bit
  • CPU: i5-4670T 2.3 GHz
  • GPU: Integrated
  • Citra Version (found in title bar): don’t know, it doesn’t launch
  • Game: none, it’s the emulator itself.

yes, its still an issue for me at least.

yes, but i found that older versions work.

Hi, we recently dropped support for Windows 7/8 when we moved to qt6. That’s why you are encountering these issues.
