Citra canary won't open on mac

Issue:
after an update in citra canary on my macbook pro, the citra canary won’t open is stuck in the terminal

System Information

  • Operating System: macOS mojave
  • CPU: Intel Core i7-7700HQ
  • GPU: * 2.9GHz
    Radeon Pro 560 with 4GB of GDDR5 memory and automatic graphics switching
    Intel HD Graphics 630
  • Citra Version (found in title bar): citra canary 1130
  • Game: wont load the citra apps

Try installing the missing library: brew install ffmpeg.
if that doesn’t work send this error message here.

I had the same problem as OP (latest Canary build 1131 would no longer work on my mac), but installing ffmpeg as outlined above fixed the problem and Citra opens again. Thanks bio3c!

First time using this forum I have got the same issue :frowning: How can you install the library brew install ffmpeg have no idea how to do it ?

Get Brew, follow its instructions, than install ffmpeg.
