Citra ends itself when I load a game
So I have been using Citra for playing Tomodachi life, it has worked until 2 days ago and I dont know why. So i load up the game and it just closes everything Citra related, no idea if it’s a crash or not. System Information
Operating System: Windows 10
CPU: Intel Core i5-11400F
GPU: Nvidia GTX 1650
Citra Version (found in title bar): Citra Nightly 1608
Game: Tomodachi life
Screenshot of Issue (include the full Citra window including titlebar): Cant take one since there is nothing to screenshot cause it closes everything Citra related
Hello, I think I also have the same problem and I don’t know what to do why, I open the game and it loads but, once the game is “loaded”, not only the game stops, but the computer stops (the cursor doesn’t move and another application cannot be opened), in addition to the fact that this has already happened to me many times.
This would be why. You have a grand total of 3.66 GiB of RAM that your PC can allocate. Citra alone may use more than that if you take the shader cache into account. So if you have literally anything other than Citra running, you can expect issues like this. Best option would be to get yourself some more RAM. Stopgap solution is to up the page file in your operating system settings. You’ll need to google how to change your page file for your distro.
