Citra closes while loading pokemon alpha sapphire randomizer

When I open my randomizer, Citra closes immediately after it finishes loading. The base game works fine though, is this an issue with the randomizer?

If the base game functions correctly, but the randomized game does not, there is an issue with the randomization.
