Citra crash after selecting language Pokemon moon

Issue:
When I load file everything is initially fine and after selecting and confirming language the game continues to the greeting before creating a character and it says “Citra has encountered a fatal error” and proceeds to freeze the game graphically as the soundtrack for the game continues to play normally.

System Information

  • Citra Version: Citra Nightly | Head-cf9bfe0
  • Game: Pokémon moon

Can someone please help I’m encountering the fatal error even when I randomiz new saves and follow all steps I also have enough memory so idk what to do

just play ultra moon or ultra sun because it is much better

@cat_eater That’s not solving the problem.

@ThePhantom ROM could be corrupted maybe. Try redumping your game.

I just want the game randomized though like is it possible to just download a randomized rom?

Is that for the actual 3ds or can I use on citra?

PKHex is a program that you run on your computer. If you need help using that to randomize your dumped ROM, please create a new Offtopic topic here, as we don’t provide support for ROM hacking.
