this is what happened when citra crashes using build from source

1st crash: Unhandled exception at 0x00007FFB443ED33E (ucrtbase.dll) in citra-qt.exe: Fatal program exit requested. occurred

2nd crash: Exception thrown at 0x00007FFB46BEA055 (ntdll.dll) in citra-qt.exe: 0xC0000005: Access violation writing location 0x000000F40AA80FF0. occurred

Try run these commands with cmd (command prompt) as administrator:

  1. sfc /scannow then reboot your computer (just in case)
  2. DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth then reboot your computer (just in case)
  3. sfc /scannow again then reboot your computer (just in case)
