Citra crashes and shuts down randomly while playing

Issue:
I’m trying to play Ace Attorney: Spirit of Justice on Citra Nightly 1782. Most times I can open the game fine (sometimes it instantly crashes at launch though), but then I play for a while and it randomly freezes and then crashes and shuts down. The time it takes for it to crash varies: sometimes its a few hours, sometimes almost instantaneously. I’ve gotten used to saving constantly so that this won’t be an issue but it’s getting very frustrating.

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • You are running out of date drivers for your GPU. You need to install the most recent driver for your graphics card from Intel’s website. Support for Intel® Graphics
  • Your GPU hardware only supports OpenGL version 3.3.0. Citra requires OpenGL 4.3.0 and above. https://citra-emu.org/wiki/faq/
