Game freezes at character select screen and Citra closes.

Need a champ to sort this for me please. I’m out of ideas.
Any help guys?? Just want to play the game at this point. Faffed about for so long.
Same happened to me after installing the last update, before that it worked perfectly.
The first three times Citra closed in the character select screen, now it doesn’t close but it freezes for a momento, gets slow and the cursor disappears. The music continues, I can press the buttons and seems it is selecting something, but I can’t see what’s happening. Pressing random buttons it gets to the fight but the screen doesn’t change, I know it based on the sound but it is freezed in the character select screen.
Operating System: Windows 10 Pro N
CPU: Intel(R) Core™ i5-7200U CPU @ 2.50GHz 2.71 GHz
Citra version: Nightly 1933

Hmm I tried Citra Nightly on my laptop and the ROM works but it lags heavily for a few seconds on the character select screen before it goes past that screen and can actually have a battle. I’m thinking this is where the issue is. Something is making Citra force close the game on Steam Deck. Maybe the Vulcan version of Citra will work properly when that comes out?
Can a mod help please??
Reverting to Citra 1913 solved the issue
