Citra crashes/closes after trying to start MH4U

Issue:
I try to launch Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate (the only game I have installed)
when I try to start it, the system sound glitches for a few seconds, then nothing happens for a few seconds, and then Citra just closes.

I’m wondering if this is a Citra issue or a game issue, and if I can fix it.
