It seems you accidentally reopened Citra before uploading citra_log.txt which would clear the log. If you still have the folder open in the background then upload citra_log.txt.old.txt instead. Otherwise, redo the steps to get a new log and make sure you have started the game before you close Citra.

Try turn off Disk Shader Cache in the Advanced graphics settings in Citra configuration. Make sure you are not loading any save state as well.

As you can see, i was trying to load a normal save when it crashed. (this was just now btw, after i turned off disk shader cache)

Hm, I don’t see anything wrong in the log. Try a manual build: https://citra-emu.org/download/ (click manual download). Create a new folder called user in its mingw folder so settings load from that instead of the default AppData.

This one didn’t even start whatsoever.

Do you have any overlays running?

Oh! Yes, i have Discord overlay. I’ll turn that off and try again.

citra_log.txt (14.4 KB)

I actually have no idea what that is, i turned off my discord overlay in all capacities and even my Xbox overlay. I don’t think I’ve seen it before today, and previously i had issues running Citra too.

Ok, well there is something on your end. I have a Ryzen 9 3900X and RTX 2080 so same architectures on both CPU & GPU as you but I have no issues.

I can’t really pin point where this issue is since there are no error messages.

Yeah, it’s strange. I think i vaguely recall these issues started after i tried to update Citra back in January and i kept getting error messages.

Must be something going wrong in my pc, but everything else works perfect. Just citra.

Either way, i appreciate your help nonetheless

I (Seemingly thus far, 3 minutes without a crash which is a new record) have fixed it! Turns out it was an NVIDIA file that was causing the ‘YES DC’ and once i deleted it, Citra ceased showing it and fixed the game!

I found this out by this article https://www.reddit.com/r/techsupport/comments/lr31f2/no_dc_yes_dc_mysterious_text_that_suddenly/

My game runs on 30 fps on the start, then when it’s on the screen to select the language it freezes on 0 FPS, what is happening?
