Citra crashes every time I try to launch a game on mac

Issue:
When I try to launch a game, it shows that the game is being launched but with 0% speed and 0 fps. Then the emulator exists unexpectedly.

System Information

  • Operating System: macOS catalina
  • CPU: 2.6 ghz dual-core intel core i5
  • GPU: Intel Iris 1536 MB
  • Citra Version (found in title bar): Citra Nightly 1588
  • Game: Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney : Dual Destinies

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • Enabling Accurate Multiplication is recomended in certain games. If you are experiencing graphical glitches, try enabling this option.

I did not find anything wrong in your log file. Please wait for a moderator to assist.

Try turn off Disk Shader Cache and maybe even Hardware Shader in the graphics options in Citra.

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • CPU JIT should be enabled for the best performance. Please enable this option.

Don’t turn off CPU JIT :stuck_out_tongue:

macOS has some issues, you can try and older build: https://github.com/citra-emu/citra-nightly/releases/tag/nightly-1392
