Citra crashes & freeze my PC immediately

Issue: I have donwloaded and test both version Nightly & Canary but the emulator still crashes after few seconds of running the rom. If I don’t close the emulator immediately, my laptop freezes and I have to restart it.

  • GPU: Intel(R) UHD Graphics
  • Citra Version (found in title bar): 2276

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • Please enable the Vsync option if you are experiencing screen tearing.

No game was booted in your log. If you are experiencing a crash then do not open citra again until after you posted the log as it gets purged when you reopen citra.

My PC froze and when I restarted it before logging in it froze again, I had to restart it twice.

Do you recommend to uninstall and just forget about playing with Citra on this PC?

This sounds like either a RAM or a driver issue. Citra certainly isn’t doing this by itself. Try reinstalling the latest NVIDIA driver.
