Diagnostic Log
citra_log.txt (4 KB)

You are just barely within minimum specs from 4 years ago. Since then, Apple has axed support for many of the dependencies, so we’ve adapted our builds accordingly. This unfortunately leads to older MacOS versions being incompatible with Citra. You can try out an older build to see if that works, but if it doesn’t, there’s not much we can do about it:
Download citra-osx-20200707-bd7ee8c.tar.gz from Release nightly-1587: Common: remove a mod from AlignUp (#5441) · citra-emu/citra-nightly · GitHub
Extract it and then run the citra-qt executable found inside of the extracted folder.

So, can updating my OS help me use the newer versions?

It might, but considering he age of your current device, I’m not sure it supports updating much higher than it already is.

Thanks for the help.
