Citra crashes pc during the black loading screen

Issue:
There’s a blank loading screen where the citra screen is just all black save for the game icon and the word “Loading…” before the other loading stuff happens with the yellow and orange bars. I noticed that as i progressed through my game the black loading screen took longer and slower to load. Eventually it just freezes everything and I’ve had to hard shut down my laptop. Since the first time this happened the game has ran several times (after a very long loading period). But other times the freeze still occurs. The last time i opened it was a freeze.

System Information

  • Operating System: Windows 10
  • CPU: i3-5005U 2.00GHz; 4.00 GB RAM
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce 930M
  • Citra Version (found in title bar): 1463
  • Game: Pokemon Omega Ruby

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • Enabling Accurate Multiplication is recomended in certain games. If you are experiencing graphical glitches, try enabling this option.

Try turn off Disk Shader Cache in the graphics options in Citra. It has issues for some users with some games at the moment.

hey it worked i can run the game again thank you! wonder when it would stop causing issues to those users tho

Si me funciono pero quisiera saber a que se debe este problema quitando los shader caches :v

Hi, I tried to enable Accurate Multiplication and disabled shaders, but still don’t working yet.
Yesterday I played for hours, but today I download the latest update and it stop working
Citra gets all black, I only can kill the process to exit it.
I tried installing it again, I tried the Citra Canary and nothing.
I tried another solution of delete OpenGl folder but nothing.

This is the log, I was just playing Pokemon Omega Ruby

Turn off Hardware Renderer in the Advanced graphics options then upload a new log after you tried to start the game again and closed Citra. Hopefully there will be more information in the log.

(I didn’t know that my intel graphics was outdated, idk since when but, it’s already running again :laughing:)
