Issue:
from this thread here: No components during installation
i downloaded the suggested version because i also had no components.
i can’t get the application to successfully open. it crashes immediately. when i did try on my M1 mac the application opened fine but would crash when i tried to open a game so i figured i would just try on my older mac and it won’t even open…

The log file you upload shows it did open? Or is that log file from your M1 Mac device?
no it’s for the intel one. i guess it is technically opening? but i don’t see the window and immediately get the ‘citra crashed unexpectedly’ notice
Are you opening citra, or citra-qt? Make sure that you’re opening citra-qt.
i’m opening citra-qt. i dont have the regular citra app on this computer because i couldn’t get past the setup wizard and so i deleted it.
so is there just nothing i can do?
i am sure that i’m opening citra-qt as it is the only version i have downloaded on this computer
Does MacOS give you a crashlog when you try to open Citra? If so, upload that here.
