My citra instantly crashes when I launch a randomized pokemon ultra sun game

System Information

  • Operating System: Windows
  • CPU: i7-4790
  • GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti
  • Citra Version (found in title bar): Canary 1994 & Nightly 1725
  • Game: Pokemon Ultra Sun (Randomized)

I can launch the regular ultra sun from which i randomized the game perfectly fine

We don’t provide support with ROM edits like ROM hacks. So long as the dumped base games, updates and DLC run without issues, then Citra isn’t at fault. You’ll need to ask for support from with the author of your randomization tools. Though they’d likely recommend you to try using your randomized ROM on a 3DS first, as that is more accurate.
