Citra crashes when loading animal crossing nl

Citra doesn’t let me save in game in animal crossing new leaf, i don’t know if this is normal, so i tried to save state because it was the only way i could save my progress. When i opened acnl and clicked load state that didn’t work, in the 1867 Citra Nightly version and in the 1866 version too.
In either version it crashes, in the 1866 citra nightly version (citra-qt) it says " error: array size too short", and after that shows me a screen with a sort of screenshoot of the progress in my game and it crashes.
I followed some tutorials but nothing did work, please help.

In order for us to provide better support, we need to see the log generated by citra. This guide will walk you through how you can obtain the log file: How to Upload the Log File

I don’t have a file named ‘citra_log.txt’. I only have two files: one is called 'citra_log" and another one is called ‘citra_log.txt.old’.

That’s because you have file extensions turned off. You can quickly google on how to turn them on (which I do recommend you do).

As for the issue, did you perhaps transfer a save state from a different Citra installation or set up to your current one? Loading one such a save state will generally break systems file system, so it would disallow Citra from saving in-game properly. A log file would probably confirm this though.

here is the log:
citra_log.txt (5.1 KB)

The log file is incomplete. Make sure you follow the steps carefully:

  1. Open Citra, then go to File>Open Citra Folder (Citra>Open Citra Folder if on MacOS) and open up the log folder. Now keep that open in the background.
  2. Launch your game and encounter the problem; crash/slowdown/glitch and close Citra if it doesn’t do so by itself. Do not restart Citra as that will wipe the log of important information!
  3. Now upload the log file in this chat.

the citra log in the original version where i played the game the first time

^ This driver is out of date. To update, download and install gfx_win_101.4255.exe from Intel® Arc™ & Iris® Xe Graphics - WHQL - Windows*

i followed the instruction to update the driver (with the first link) but it tells me this message:
an error occurred,
no drivers were found that can be installed on the current device.
the second link doesn’t work either, the page gives an error message.

Try this one. I think Intel’s site was bugging out.

I tried another time, but it repeats me the same message: an error occurred,
no drivers were found that can be installed on the current device.
