Citra crashes when opened after update

Issue: Citra crashes when I open it after a recent update.

When I launch citra-qt it automatically crashes and this shows up on terminal:

  • Citra Version (found in title bar): Unable to find but on maintenance tool says there are no new updates.

Cannot find this as I am unable to open Citra itself

Try this:

Hi. Do you know why brew is necessary now and not before the previous versions of citra for mac?. I have the same problem that Isaac_venx with the new update.

Brew is just a package manager to install software on your mac, what citra actually requires is the library ffmpeg.
