Citra crashes when trying to use the keyboard more than once

My software keyboard doesn’t show up, and if it does, the 3DS one pops up. But if I open the keyboard again, the game crashes

Did you use ThreeSD to import your 3DS’ nand files?

Yea, I did. Just checked it out rn

Older versions of ThreeSD dumped this applet wrong iirc. If we remove the keyboard applet, it should use Citra’s open source keyboard instead, which should fix the issue.

Open Citra, then go to File>Open Citra Folder. Open up the nand folder and then open the 00040030 folder. Delete this folder here:

0000C802 if your 3DS’ region is US,
00009802 if your 3DS’ region is EUR.

Restart Citra and then see if the issue remains.

Yeah, I’ve had the same problem, but my nand folder doesn’t contain any folders other than “00000000000000000000000000000000” and “data” I’m not dense I swear.

i dont have that folder in nand tho… please help
edit: inside the 000000000000000000000 folder, i found that exact same thing and i deleted it, gonna see if the issue is gone

issue is gone. thank you!

Yes. Thank you. You are a hero.

Worked! Thank you!!!
