Citra crashes whenever I try a pokemon game

Issue:
Hi, I’m trying to play Pokemon Omega Ruby. However, as soon as I pick the language, the emulator crashes. I also tried with Pokemon Y but this time, the intro cinematic loads and then it crashes. Is there a way to resolve this ? thx.
