Citra crashes while loading game- tried fixes in other threads, not working

Issue:
Citra crashes every time I try to load a game, I notice that a lot of people are having the same problem, so I’ve been trying the various fixes people have recommended and none are working. I disabled GDB stub, disabled disk shader cache, and enabled hardware shader.

Here’s some issues I found with your log that might help.

  • CPU JIT should be enabled for the best performance. Please enable this option.

citra_log.txt (15.5 KB) Enabling hardware shader and accurate multiplication doesn’t fix my problem. Can someone please assist? I hate being pushy, but it’s been two business days now and no one on the support team has said anything despite answering other threads since I posted.

I don’t know much about Macs but I will do my best.

Let’s get the obvious things out of the way first. Redump the game using the guides below to make sure it’s clean. Have at least 4GB free space on your Nintendo 3DS’s SD card:


If a clean dump of the game doesn’t fix it, turn off Hardware Shader, Accurate Multiplication and Disk Shader Cache. If that still doesn’t work, try this older Citra build: https://github.com/citra-emu/citra-nightly/releases/tag/nightly-1392
