Citra crashing every few minutes on Pokemon Y/Alpha Sapphire + "Unregistered Class" Error

Issue:
Game crashes very often sometimes at random points or at fixed points of the game (Alpha Sapphire : First meeting with rival keeps crashing)

Would appreciate any help. thanks.

Updated to Canary 1887 - went smoothly for awhile but crashed again. Am i doing something wrong here? Updated crash log above^

Save states created on different Citra versions cannot be loaded. You need to find which Citra version you made the save state on and load it through that. You can find a list of our previous builds here: https://github.com/citra-emu/citra-canary/releases

Thanks! that’s one problem down. Would that also be tied to the issue of Citra constantly crashing while running these games?

The log file is incomplete. Make sure you follow the steps carefully:

  1. Open Citra and go to File>Open Citra Folder and open up the log folder. Now keep that open in the background.
  2. Launch your game and encounter the problem; crash/slowdown/glitch and close citra if it doesn’t do so by itself. Do not restart citra as that will wipe the log of important information!
  3. Now upload the log file in this chat.
